Detailed Activity Description:

 

10:30 AM - Gallery Walk and Light Snacks: Conference Center- Art Coordinator Nick Dunkenstein

 

Participants will move around the designated area to view different exhibits or displays (gallery walk).

They will engage with the displayed materials, which could include artwork, posters, writings, etc.

Light snacks will be available for participants during this activity.

 

11:30 AM - Art Stations: [open all day] Multipurpose Room - Lead Margaret Brendle 

Participants will rotate through various art stations where they can engage in hands-on artistic activities or explore different art techniques. (Details on Art Stations in room) 

 

12:30 PM - Zine Workshop:[open all day] Study Room A/B -Special Guest Katie Plank

A workshop session focused on creating zines, involving participants in the process of designing and making their own small publications.

 

1:30 PM - Writing Sprint: [Digital] Zoom link will be provided via QR code in all rooms

A dedicated time for participants to engage in focused writing, possibly with prompts provided to stimulate creativity and productivity.

 

2:00 PM - Writing Workshop led by Hope at Hand: Conference Center-Special Guest 

 

Led by the organization "Hope at Hand," this workshop will provide guidance and exercises to enhance participants' writing skills and creativity.

 

3:00 PM - Improv Writing Exercises: Conference Center -Host Ma Bones 

 

Interactive exercises aimed at encouraging spontaneous and creative writing, possibly involving prompts or group activities.

 

3:30 PM - Snacks Conference Center

 

4:00 PM - Open Mic: Hosts DeadSteins Conference Center -(Ma Bones and Nick Dunkenstein) 

 

Participants will have the opportunity to share their creative works, whether it's writing, poetry, or other forms of expression, in a supportive and open environment.

5:15PM - Closing Statements
